Role description:

We’re looking for a proactive, technically skilled and detail oriented professional to join our team and take ownership of building and maintaining robust, scalable cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes ecosystems and infrastructure automation who thrives in solving complex problems and streamlining delivery workflows. You’ll focus on platform engineering creating the cloud native foundations and automation that keep our systems resilient, scalable and developer-friendly.

About the project:

You’ll be working on a high performance platform in the iGaming industry delivering innovative gaming experiences to a global audience. Operating in a fast-paced, high-load environment the platform is built on modern, cloud native architecture and managed through GitOps driven workflows to ensure consistency, reliability and rapid delivery. Our infrastructure is designed for scalability, security and operational excellence, enabling us to meet the demands of real-time, globally distributed players while continuously evolving our services.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud infrastructure – EKS, EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, Identity Center, CloudFront, Lambda, Route53, ALB
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem, including tools like Karpenter, Kyverno, Keda and External Secrets Operator
  • Practical experience with Terraform, Packer and infrastructure automation
  • Comfort working in Linux environments and writing scripts to automate routine tasks
  • A good grasp of networking fundamentals, including highly scalable cloud networking
  • Enthusiasm for CI/CD and GitOps with hands-on experience using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Helm
  • You care about observability and know how to use tools like Grafana stack, Loki, Prometheus and Mimir to make systems transparent and debuggable
  • Fluent English and clear technical communication, both written and spoken
  • A mindset of ownership: you’re proactive, solution-oriented, and take real ownership of what you build

Responsibilities:

  • Work with AWS infrastructure designed using a Well-Architected Framework, including architecture planning, design, implementation, and scalable setups optimised for high-load applications
  • Use Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices for consistent, reliable infrastructure management
  • Automate and improve development and release workflows to streamline delivery and reduce manual overhead
  • Operate and maintain monitoring and logging systems to provide clear visibility into application health and performance
  • Support business-critical applications to ensure they run reliably and efficiently
  • Provide support for existing systems and solutions during their transition to modern platforms

We offer:

  • A flat structure and pragmatic open-minded culture without unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Competitive salary that reflects your skills and ownership
  • Health insurance
  • Flexibility to work fully remotely or in a hybrid setup from our modern office
  • Paid parking for on-site work
  • Well-stocked snacks and drinks to keep you fuelled

We are looking for a long term addition to our team rather than a freelance engagement.
