The session, “From BigQuery to AWS Lakehouse Migration: How to Modernize Your Data & AI Platform,” took place on September 9, 2026.

Together with AWS, we walked through a real customer migration and shared our experience helping Yggdrasil Gaming move from Google BigQuery to a modern lakehouse architecture on AWS.

Modernizing a data platform is about more than moving data between cloud providers. It's an opportunity to simplify operations, improve performance and prepare for future business needs.

During the webinar, we shared how GOStack worked with Yggdrasil Gaming to redesign its data platform using AWS services and open technologies such as Apache Iceberg.

The project focused on reducing multi-cloud complexity, improving data processing efficiency and building a scalable foundation for analytics and AI.

The migration delivered measurable improvements:

• 75% lower analytics latency, reducing processing time from 2 hours to 30 minutes
